Job Position Summary

To Act as a positive representation of Fleet Management to the seafarers & families, Provides assistance to seafarers & their families in case of emergencies at home while onboard and on leave.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. To Act as a positive representation of Fleet Management to the seafarers & families, Provide assistance to seafarers  & their families in case of emergencies at home while onboard and on leave.
2. Liaise with seafarers Families, Next of Kin (NOK) in crisis (shipping casualty) & update them with required information.
3. Assist in reporting to statutory bodies viz DG shipping, Unions, P&I, local correspondent etc.
4. Acts as a point of contact for seafarers to address any concerns, grievances, or personal issues they may have while at sea. 
5. To Act as Support system to seafarer’s family in case of any untoward incident/ Visit to their residence.
6. Relaying important information, policies, and updates to the crew.
7. Asist the HOD/ Manager in Crew welfare program and in coordinating essential programs such as the Tea Talks, FFSG, BoB.
8. Maintain list of all crew signed off on medical ground & prepare analysis.
9. Debriefing post sign off 
10. Prepare SWOT analysis report post debriefing feedback received from the Ratings.
11. Assist in executing Road shows/ Webinars in various cities to introduce our company to potential hires. 
12. Participating in all the welfare activities related to the sailing staff
13. Responsible for Handling of crew insurance (Marine Benefit)   Carry out briefing of seafarers on Marine benefit, verifying enrollment details prior joining.
14. Responsible for compilation of entries in FLEET care bulletin (We Care) from ratings.
15. Concierge desk for our seafarers 
16. Maintain list of long service awards & Make arrangement for felicitation of seafarers in office. 
17. Assist in compiling list of seafarers for PFA course.


Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications

• MBA or Diploma in shipping/ Human Resource (Preferable)
• At least 12 years Work experience in Customer care/ Maritime industry/ hospitality
