Job Position Summary
To Act as a positive representation of Fleet Management to the seafarers & families, Provides assistance to seafarers & their families in case of emergencies at home while onboard and on leave.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Developing an Innovative approach for engaging the seafarers.
2. To promote relations between company, sailing staff & their families
3. Assist in planning & executing Road shows in various cities to introduce our company to potential hires.
4. Participating in all the welfare activities related with the sailing staff
5. Follow up with the seafarer involved in incident till he is completely recovered & medically fit.
6. Being accessible, providing support/information to families during the period of identified need.
7. Debriefing of signed off candidates
8. Assist in preparing monthly report on various aspects discussed with seafarers during debriefing session.SWOT based on debriefings.
9. Maintain log sheet of seafarers involved in incident/ Medical unfit
10. Preparing monthly data to update sailing staff insurance policy
11. Assist in various CSR activities run by Company.
12. KYC- Know your Clients (Seafarers) Develop relation
13. Concierge desk for our seafarers.
14. Assist in arrangement of Mental wellness Program for Seafarers to be conducted in various cities in India
15. Various task as directed by Head of Fleet Care department.
16. Maintain list of Long service awards & Make arrangement for felicitation of seafarers in office.

 

Additional Tasks 
1. Engaging seafarers through webinars.
a. E.g.: Parenting & Parenting, Covid 19 Vaccination, Leadership Seminar/ Webinar on the
Day of the Seafarers Chandigarh,
b. Virtual engagement with seafarers’ families over WhatsApp group, once a week PAN India.
c. E.g.: Share the Talent, Funky Friday, Tambola Fridays
d. Enhanced- Stay Connected Virtual Webinar.

2. Welfare 
a. Welfare calls to seafarers’ families within one month of joining vessel.
b. Enhanced – Contacting families during the crisis to check on their well-being and offering support as needed, Resolving insurance related queries. (Assist in liaising with local third-party authorities to provide cashless support for medical treatments. 

3. Providing logistic support to Wellness at Sea and Psychological First Aid workshops. 
4. Assist in various campaigns run on behalf of FPD such as SID, Feedback on harassment onboard, Vaccination taken/not taken, and socializing the crisis helpline number. 
5. Gender Diversity a. Liaising with female officers onboard to ensure their well-being, providing shore support and sharing report to Top Management on monthly basis. 
6. BOB- Buddy onboard a. Contact onboard Cadets/TMEs who are sailing for the first time, maintain reports and liaise with the master’s to ensure their wellbeing. 
7. FFSG group- a. Maintaining data of professionals from various fields, creating a platform for them to engage with other families for future references, support, and guidance. 
8. Maintaining lia st of long service awards & Make arrangements for felicitation of seafarers in office. 
9. We Care is a self-published In house magazine of Fleet Care where the content as received from seafarers and their families is compiled, edited, designed and each content entry is acknowledged by us. The magazine is published Bi-annually, and hard copies are shared with the contributors and the same is connected with Ships. 
10. Marine Benefits- 
a. Sharing MBAS IDs with ships of all crew onboard starting from the initialization of new Medical Insurance policy with Marine Benefits Insurance. 
b. Compilation of Enrollment data as received from ships of new joiners, sharing with HKG insurance for generation of MBAS IDs and re-sharing to ship. 
c. Assisting and guiding seafarers/families for registration, getting assistance from local TPA for cashless and reimbursement related queries.


Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
· Aviation and Hospitality background (Cabin Crew),
· Graduation,
· At least 1 year Work experience in Customer care Aviation/ Hotel industry
