Job Position Summary   

Working closely with the Group HR Director, the MD for Fleet and other senior management, this key role is responsible for leading our global business partnering efforts, HR policy design, total rewards, employee data, structural change and outsourced payroll oversight. In addition, the role holder will directly support Hong Kong and North Asia management and lead a team of two.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Group HR Director to develop and implement strategies to improve HR effectiveness and the continuing improvement of the employee experience
  • Lead global business partnering frameworks, standards and improvement – providing SME support to country leads globally
  • Lead the total rewards strategy including philosophy, job evaluation, pay range creation and management, benchmarking, benefit determination, insurances and lead the year-end pay review process 
  • Oversee smooth and timely onboarding and exit processes, ensuring a seamless link with Talent Acquisition and other HR functions
  • Oversee workforce management, headcount planning, the management of the job description library
  • Provide an advisory service on structural change and related change management activity
  • Coach, support and partner with senior management and middle managers as required
  • Oversee data management accuracy through Success Factors, ensuring information acts as a single source of truth
  • Lead analytics and HR dashboard design activity
  • Review and lead the design and implementation of Code of Conduct / Handbook / and related policies globally
  • Oversee our outsourced payroll operation
  • Work with the team to ensure proper controls and procedures are in place for all offices including the smaller offices outside of Hong Kong.
  • Lead the HR Ops team in Hong Kong

 

Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Passion for the evolving world of work and how that impacts modern HR practice.
  • Strong understanding of HK employment law
  • At least ten years’ generalist HR experience, at least three of which were at a managerial level
  • Experience in executing major organisational change initiatives
  • Experience leading compensation and benefits / rewards strategies
  • Practical experience in coaching and mentoring
  • Experience with cloud-based HR systems such as SAP Success Factors
