Job Position Summary  

The Marketing and Business Development Support Manager accelerates Fleet’s commercial growth by equipping senior leaders with high-impact client presentations, pitch decks, and strategic thought leadership. Operating as a critical partner to the Executive Director – Commercial, this role translates complex market insights into compelling B2B narratives that win new business and deepen client engagement.

 

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

 

1. Pitch & Presentation Engineering

  • Design bespoke pitch decks and client presentations tailored to high-value prospects and strategic accounts.
  • Transform raw commercial data into visually compelling, easy-to-digest graphics and slides.
  • Establish standardized templates to scale the delivery speed of client-facing materials.

 

2. Commercial Content & Narrative Creation

  • Author high-conversion proposals, executive briefings, case studies, and capability statements.
  • Distill complex technical capabilities into clear, persuasive, and value-driven client narratives.
  • Audit all outbound commercial collateral to ensure flawless messaging and brand consistency.

 

3. Market Insights & Data Synthesis

  • Conduct targeted market research to uncover client pain points, industry trends, and competitor positioning.
  • Analyze internal and external data to embed hard evidence and performance metrics into pitches.
  • Brief senior executives on account-specific insights prior to critical client engagements.

 

4. Digital & AI-Driven Asset Design

  • Leverage advanced design software and AI-enabled creation tools to elevate the aesthetic quality of materials.
  • Produce polished, publication-ready layouts that reflect a premium, cutting-edge corporate identity.
  • Maintain an organized digital asset library of approved copy, graphics, and slide modules.

 

5. Stakeholder Alignment & Event Activation

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director – Commercial to synchronize collateral with pipeline priorities.
  • Develop tailored content kits for high-stakes client summits, industry events, and board meetings.
  • Coordinate localized event logistics and material distribution on an occasional, as-needed basis.

 

6. Thought Leadership & Corporate Synergy

  • Coordinate with Senior leaders across Fleet Management Limited to draft whitepapers, articles, and viewpoint pieces that position Fleet as an industry innovator.
  • Partner with the Corporate Communications team to align localized commercial messaging with global brand guidelines.
  • Maintain strict focus on direct sales enablement, leaving PR execution and channel management to Corporate Communications teams.

 

 

Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications

 

  • Experience: 8+ years of proven success in B2B marketing, sales enablement, management consulting, or business development support.
  • Executive Presence: Extensive history of collaborating with, writing for, and advising C-suite executives and senior commercial leaders.
  • Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, and modern AI-powered content generation tools.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional portfolio of written business English, showcasing the ability to structuralize complex ideas into simple, persuasive arguments.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong capability to gather open-source data, synthesize metrics, and extract actionable commercial insights.
  • Mobility: Flexibility to travel occasionally to support high-priority client meetings and corporate events.
