Job Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. This role is pivotal in supporting the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity practices across our 20+ global offices and over 650 vessels under management.
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will lead efforts to fortify our defence systems by proactively identifying and addressing cybersecurity issues across people, processes, and technology.
This pivotal role enhances Fleet Management's commitment to superior digital security by designing and implementing robust security solutions and initiatives. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity, you will serve as a key driver in advancing our cybersecurity agenda and mentoring junior analysts to foster a culture of security excellence.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, your typical day might include:
Leading & Driving Cybersecurity Initiatives
- Coordinate and implement targeted cybersecurity enhancements to strengthen Fleet Management's security posture
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful execution of security projects that address identified risks and vulnerabilities
- Advocate for compliance with international cybersecurity standards and frameworks, enhancing Fleet Management’s security practices
Proactive Security Enhancements
- Perform in-depth analyses of current cybersecurity practices to pinpoint risks and vulnerabilities and recommend strategic improvements
- Design and implement sophisticated enhancements to Fleet Management's security practices, elevating resilience against evolving cyber threats
- Spearhead initiatives to embed security best practices into all business processes and IT projects, ensuring seamless integration
Advanced Threat Management and Intelligence
- Manage the continuous monitoring of security systems to swiftly detect and address potential threats, maintaining Fleet Management's defensive posture
- Lead the analysis of threat intelligence to proactively predict and mitigate potential breaches, setting preventive measures in place
- Provide expert guidance and communicate critical threat assessments to senior stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making

EXTERNAL:
- Managing vendors/third parties
Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
ESSENTIAL:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT security field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with cybersecurity incidents response
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender (XDR, Endpoint, M365, Cloud Apps, Identity), Intune, Sentinel and implementing Zero Trust security model.
- Demonstrated ability with the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity policies and practices
- Experience with security best practices and tools in other cloud environments such as AWS, and Google Cloud (GCP)
- Experience with implementing modern security systems and tools such as NGFW and SASE.
- Good analytical skills and ability to work with complex security systems and software
- Ability to communicate effectively up to Director level in spoken and written English
DESIRABLE:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate.
- Working understanding of international frameworks and standards such as ISO9000, 270001 and PCI/DSS
- Other Azure, AWS or GCP certifications
- Understanding of Maritime industry and OT systems context
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
