Job Position Summary

In-charge of daily operations and duties being delivered by support team Members. Responsible in implementing and supervising assignments and work procedures based on deliverables of the FMTI Quality manual and as assigned through the HOD - FMTI. Key duties would involve on deliverable of personal work assignments as well delegation of duties, as well as guidance, supervision and assessment of work assignments of Executive and Senior Executives forming the support team at FMTI. To also deliver on any special task or projects (which may be beyond listed daily task) as delegated directly by HOD or indirectly through any Manager, as deputed by the HOD.

 

The position is a mature role where though in supporting capacity, there is  a strong managerial with tremendous scope for independent decision making as well as handling human resources. 
 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

To act as a supervisor, delegator and liaison between the HOD (or Manager assigned by HOD) and the  Executive and Sr. Executive team members of the support team.
To be in charge of critical communication with peer departments (particularly FPD)  as well as external parties as required by profile
To verify / validate all FMTI training and related certification for across branches in India. (Including but not limited to Classroom, TOLAS, Mentoring, PDOS and third-party training)
To assist with planning and to facilitate the conduct of various Webinars and Seminars (Internal and external) 
Work with HOD and (his/her designated manager where applicable) and ensure implementation of FMTI’s quality management system.   
To be responsible for delegation and supervision for all task related to ISM, DOC, TMSA and DBMS Audits.
To represent FMTI, whenever necessary, at both in-house as well as external events.
Dealing with approved vendors, Service providers, Housekeeping, building management etc.
Oversee, plan and assist in planning for booking of classroom courses and oversee notification and onboarding of candidates for Simulator and other high value courses. To ensure the best possible resource optimization for courses and seats available
Liaison with Visiting Faculty and ensure smoother delivery of operations through that segment.
Monitor client satisfaction and quality assurance, reporting any problem, accidents, unsafe condition to HOD
Co-ordination with domestic & international branches for Training related queries based on requirements.
Overseeing and delegating task / liaison with critical third-party service providers like candidate catering services as well as housekeeping. 
Handling onboard training related Inspections & audit queries with certificate validation & providing same.
Assistance in preparing Training material, seminar, making handouts & company bulletins.
Connecting TOLAS material to vessels and responding to vessel-based TOLAS request,
Maintaining attendance. Performance and similar tracking of staff who may be provided by 3rd parties
Assist in Hotel booking arrangements for 5E & CDTs visiting FMTI
Handling Travel arrangements for FMTI staff,
Handling All matters related to campus selection of CDT & 5E. including arranging medicals for Selected candidates. Virtual Classrooms & TAR book coordination for onboard 5E & CDT. Handling Mentor Mentee Program. Oversee and assist with Campus recruitment and orientation drives on Pan India Level.
 

Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher, with good communication, organizational and IT Skills. Should have served a minimum of 4 years in a similar subordinate role.
