Job Position Summary
To ensure effective implementation and oversight of the Management of Change (MoC) process across fleet operations, shore-based activities, and technical systems. The role supports safe, compliant, and efficient transitions during organizational, procedural, or technical changes within the company.
Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesMoC Process Oversight
• Administer and maintain the MoC framework in alignment with company policies and international maritime regulations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and document proposed changes affecting operations, safety, or compliance.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation
• Facilitate risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed changes.
• Ensure appropriate mitigation measures are developed, documented, and implemented before change execution.
Documentation & Control
• Maintain accurate records of all MoC activities, including approvals, risk evaluations, and implementation timelines.
• Ensure traceability and audit readiness of MoC documentation.
Training & Communication
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote awareness of MoC procedures among shipboard and shore-based personnel.
• Act as a liaison between departments to ensure clear communication and alignment during change processes.
Compliance & Auditing
• Monitor compliance with MoC protocols and flag deviations.
• Support internal and external audits related to change management and safety systems.
Continuous Improvement
• Review and refine MoC procedures based on lessons learned, audit findings, and industry best practices.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
Minimum sailing experience as 2nd officer and having good knowledge of company process.
