Job Position Summary
Calling Ex-hands for joining and signedoff Saloon ratings (CCK,GS & TR GS)

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Monitoring vessel’s schedule as per planner and planning candidates as per requirements.

2. Maintaining and updating planner for all saloon ratings.

3. Preparing 2 months advance planner.

4. Calling signed off candidates and confirming their availability of Saloon ratings.

5. Coordinating with ratings for pre joining formalities and post joining formalities.

6. To check documents of signed off candidates and inform them to renew the documents prior their

availability date.

7. Calling candidates as per their availability and plan them on vessel.

8. Arranging pre joining medicals and in house courses for joining candidates as per the requirement.

9. Arranging chemical tests for signed off candidates sailed on chemical tankers and uploading their

reports on Paris.

10. Updating, scanning, and uploading of courses and documents on Paris renewed by candidates.

11. Keeping track of Appraisal Reports of Off-Signers for Re-employment and Promotion.

12. Sending suitable On-Promotion candidates to QCD(Quality Catering Department) for Chief Cook test

and uploading their result in company software.

13. Maintaining Passport / CDC register + Excel sheet.

14. Verification of seafarer documents as per STCW 2010. Verification of CDC,DCE and COC.

15. Preparing Pre-joining checklist for planned candidates.

16. To maintain excel of all saloon crew (sign off and sign on) and updating the same for reference.

17. To maintain deployment list of crew on leave.

18. Arranging TR.GS and GS training for promotions

19. Liasining with NPT for saloon rating selected as per requirement.

20. Preparing gap analysis for 2 months and forwarding t requiremnets to NPT fro new hands.

21. Arranging pre joining medicals,company courses and training of freshers selected through campus

recuritment.

 

Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
· Degree holder of any faculty with minimum 1 – 2 years of work experience in shipping industry.
· Experience in Sourcing in shipping industry dealing with shore-based requirements.
· Good Communication Skills
· Excellent on MS-Office
· Good Negotiation skills
· Must be able to work and recruit to tight deadline.
