Job Position Summary
The Executive role is one related to supporting day to day operations of FMTI.
It will involve duties which will require direct interaction with candidates and FPD teams as well as a varied level of task related to operations and support to daily activities and special projects.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Will be required to provide support on daily operation duties related to training & task which are assigned for special project and assignments.
Duties will include standard roles and procedures as listed in activities and procedures described in FMTI’s Quality Management Manual and as task as directly prescribed by Assistant Manager, Support Team as well as by HOD – FMTI, or any Manager, as deputed by the HOD, for specific task
It will involve duties related to registration, data entry, data validation as well as creating documentation, recordkeeping and certification related to training. Said training will include all forms include delivery via classroom, on cloud, TOLAS, webinar, Seminars as well as through 3rd party training service providers.
Close communication and interaction will be required with department as well as FPD groups and branches. Jobs will include not just email and digital database creation and record keeping but may also involve assisting in maintenance of physical records, equipment, and assets.
On occasion, an executive may also be expected to travel with other colleagues to offsite locations during official purposes. Interaction with seafarers in physical as well as over telecall and over email and similar medium will be required. Liaison and oversight of Cadets and TMEs will also be required.
Other duties like creating statistical reports, material for courses etc. as matching skill set may be assigned.
Direct reporting to associated Assistant Manager, Support team and indirectly to Head of Department. GM – FMTI, India
Shall be involved intra department and inter-department communication particularly FPD but also with Admin, Accounts and Purchase Department. Communication may also be required on occasion, with external associated parties as well as shipboard teams and seafarers.
Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
Graduate, Good communication and acceptable skills in Microsoft office.
Should have good interpersonal skills and have acceptable levels of language and communication skills.
Should have mental fortitude to perform consistently with large volumes data entry tasks and high levels of accuracy and speed.
Due to diverse nature of role, should be of amicable nature so can be easily paired up in different teams with other peers and seniors
